The wOw Experience
Words Open Wide
Our most important conversations happen within ourselves. When we're open and honest with ourselves, it paves the way for genuine connections with others. Domestic violence, abuse, and trauma can put us in a sort of slumber. It's like we disconnect from reality just to get through it. To truly start living again, we need something or someone to shake us awake, to bring us back to reality. Sadly, many only realize this when something terrible happens. That's why Samantha Le Roux developed the wOw experience.
Samantha Le Roux, founder of Cornerstone Family and DSTV Woman of Change 2020, created a safe haven for women facing domestic violence and trauma in affluent spaces. Now, she introduces the workplace wOw experience, a corporate wellness program to showcase a corporation's commitment to employee mental health. Why? Depression and anxiety disorders cost the global economy $1 trillion annually in lost productivity (WHO).
"By supporting mental health at work, you reduce absenteeism, boost productivity, and gain economically"- Mike Veny. Let your team access existing wellness programs or establish one with us. By choosing the 'wOw' experience for your staff, you're conveying a powerful message: 'We may not need to know what's going on, but we genuinely care’.
Samantha Le Roux invites corporates to reach out for more in-depth information and to explore how 'The "wOw" Experience' can benefit your organization and employees. Your journey to prioritizing mental health starts here.
The personal wOw experience is a carefully developed program designed to help individuals and families reconnect. To begin the healing journey, our dedicated wOw practitioners work closely with each participant. While we strive to secure sponsorships to cover the program's fees, there may be instances where sponsorship is unavailable. We invite you to contact us so that we can discuss how we can help.
Our program consists of a minimum of four sessions, each lasting 1 to 1.5 hours. These sessions guide you through four essential phases:
- Reality Check: Explore where you are and why you might feel disconnected. Is there a need for change?
- Resistance: Understand that change can be uncomfortable, and it's common to encounter resistance when making decisions to change.
- Responsibility: Realize that there's no one to blame. Embrace the profound realization that you have control over your journey.
- Reconnect: Discover your potential and what it takes to stay awake and aligned.
The paradox of trauma is that it has both the power to destroy and the power to transform and resurrect.
Our Why
We are passionate about helping others overcome the effects of abuse.
We exist to establish a route to recovery for families affected by long-term abuse and suffering. By providing well designed steps and programs that both support and encourage survivors to uplift themselves, we can offer families hope and a future where previously, it seemed hopeless.
