Political strategist joins initiative tackling men’s wellbeing and family restoration
Cape Town, South Africa • 12 March 2025 - As South Africa grapples with growing challenges around family breakdown, fatherhood and men’s emotional wellbeing, community organisation Cornerstone Family NPC has appointed Western Cape strategist Jaques van Rensburg as Strategic Partnerships and Development Advisor to help expand its national partnerships and programmes.
Across South Africa, organisations working with families and communities say there is a growing need for safe spaces where men can speak openly about the pressures they face — from fatherhood and financial stress to emotional wellbeing and identity.
Initiatives such as Cornerstone Men aim to create structured forums where these conversations can take place constructively.
Cornerstone Family NPC is a community-focused initiative dedicated to supporting emotional wellness, family restoration, and personal empowerment.
